The Sparta High School Junior Varsity Girls Alpine Race Ski Team won 1st place at the New Jersey JV State Ski Championship held at Mountain Creek on Feb 15th, 2018. The competition featured one Giant Slalom run and one Slalom run. The top four racers combined time was 6:17.73.
Racers from seven NJ high schools competed in the NJ JV State Championship ski race. Finishing in second place was Ridgewood High School and in third place, Wayne Valley High School.
